OUR IMPACT
CONSERVATION
Protecting species. Restoring habitats. Strengthening ecosystems.
Protecting what makes Aotearoa UNIQUE.
New Zealand is home to extraordinary wildlife found nowhere else on Earth. Protecting it means looking beyond individual species to the habitats, ecosystems and partnerships they need to thrive.
The Willowbank Foundation supports practical conservation that protects threatened wildlife, restores vital habitats and strengthens biodiversity — creating lasting outcomes for nature and future generations.

NATIVE WILDLIFE & BIODIVERSITY
Protecting the species that make Aotearoa unique. We support projects that protect and strengthen populations of threatened native wildlife — from specialist breeding, incubation and recovery programmes to initiatives that help species return and thrive in the wild.

HABITAT RESTORATION
Creating healthy places for wildlife to thrive. Protecting wildlife also means protecting the places they depend on. We support projects that restore and connect forests, wetlands, waterways and other natural habitats — strengthening ecosystems and creating more space for native species to flourish.

CONSERVATION PARTNERSHIPS
Greater impact happens when we work together. We bring together conservation expertise, communities, iwi, researchers, businesses and organisations to turn shared ambition into action. By connecting people, knowledge and resources, we can help conservation projects go further and create more lasting outcomes for nature.

Conservation needs PARTNERS.
Lasting conservation doesn't happen alone. By bringing together people, communities, expertise, resources and funding, we can turn conservation ambition into action — protecting wildlife, restoring habitats and creating stronger connections between people and nature. Together, we CAN create meaningful change. Now, that is something worth investing in.
